The East Carolina University Center for Telepsychiatry and e-Behavioral Health is the home for the North Carolina Statewide Telepsychiatry Program (NC-STeP), which connects more than 50 hospital emergency departments and health departments across the state of North Carolina to provide psychiatric assessments and consultations to patients linked using telemedicine technologies.
