• Health professional must be licensed in state where they wish to administer care
  • Discounts for multiple licensures
• State Medical Board or Specialty Board are granted the right to regulate to ensure care within boundaries are competent
• Credentialed by JACHO or approved medical care entity within state
• CMS 2011 Ruling that telehealth provider only be credentialed once to extend services to multiple sites
  • Site must have Business agreement in place with credentialing entity
  • No in-person or ‘on-site’ services
